JOINT DEPLOYMENT TRAINING CENTER (JDTC) PRIVACY ACT STATEMENT
 
AUTHORITY: 5 U.S.C. 552a(e)(3), enacted into law by Section 3 of the Privacy Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-579), and 5 U.S.C. Part 310. The following statement is furnished to individuals who supply information to the JDTC.
 
PURPOSE: To manage, supervise, and administer the centrally managed Joint Deployment Training Program at the JDTC for Active military, Reserve, National Guard, civilian, and contractor employees attached to combatant commands, their components, and DoD/Field Operating Agencies. To verify an individual's security clearance and authorization for access during a classified visit.
 
ROUTINE USES: JDTC personnel may access this information on a need-to-know basis. The information may also be disclosed to DoD components to provide their assigned personnel's student training data. The "Blanket Routine Uses" that appear at the beginning of service component compilation of systems notices also apply to this system.
 
WHETHER DISCLOSURE IS MANDATORY OR VOLUNTARY AND EFFECT ON INDIVIDUAL NOT PROVIDING INFORMATION: Disclosure of requested information is voluntary. However, failure to provide the requested information may result in the denial of entrance and/or access to the JDTC and the information to which access is requested. Failure to provide the social security number may delay processing. The use of the social security number is necessary for identification purposes only and is obtained directly from the individual.
