MISSION

Provide innovative and relevant functional training and education on Joint Deployment, Global Force Management and Situational Awareness applications to the Joint Planning and Execution Community, joint exercises and Professional Military Education institutions.

JDTC Training, Education and Support

JDTC is the primary functional training, education and support provider for DoD’s joint deployment, global force management and situational awareness systems.

Beginning in March 2013 road/bridge construction in the vicinity of the main gate (Gate 1) will impact traffic flow to and from Fort Eustis. Plan for delays of up to 30 minutes during rush hour periods. Construction is scheduled for completion in March 2015.

DIRECTIONS

Fort Eustis, part of Joint Base Langley-Eustis is located along southeastern Virginia’s James River in Newport News, VA; approximately 1mi west-southwest of Interstate 64.

PLEASE NOTE: Entrance to Joint Base Langley-Eustis may take up to 30 minutes. You will need a DoD Photo ID to enter.

Classes begin at 0800 hours daily: please report NLT 0745 hours on the first day of class. For course credit, students must attend all instruction and complete all course requirements. Attire for attending JDTC instruction: Military: ABU, ACU, NWU, CUU, or Flight Suit Civilian: Business casual
